Matthew joined HarrisX following the merger between Northstar and HarrisX in the summer of 2023. Matthew is an experienced international business leader (he created a multi-award winning agency with Northstar in the UK) and has demonstrated long term leadership and vision in the competitive research and insights category.
Matthew has been personally responsible for everything from small pro-bono projects to multi-million dollar engagements. He is a specialist in international research and he has run research in 20+ international markets. He has specific experience running projects across Europe, North America, China and the Middle East. He is also passionate about innovation and creative methods and is expert in applying Jobs theory to client problems and which he does for the likes of JaguarLandRover, Nestle, IHG, Google and others.
His drive for evolution and innovation means that he consults widely on broadening the service offer of the modern insights unit. This experience in outsourcing management, building digital tools and enhancing the skillset of the modern insights practice to include data science, neuro-science, machine-learning and behavioural economics puts him at the forefront of understanding how research and insight can be best leveraged to deliver lasting impact.
