Cory Brown has led quantitative and qualitative studies across industries – including academic studies and within political and non-profit organizations. For over a decade, Cory has provided polling, data management, messaging, digital advertising, and integrated communications for candidates, associations, independent expenditure groups, and corporate clients. He currently leads the Custom Research practice at HarrisX which includes several Fortune 500 clients in industries such as tech and telecom, healthcare, real estate, financial services, as well as several marketing and public relations firms in the US. He served various roles at HarrisX from its inception, most recently as EVP & COO of North America and now serves as a key strategist and consultant.
Cory is an adjunct professor at The George Washington University where he teaches Audience Research at the graduate level. He previously taught a graduate course in Political Marketing at West Virginia University. Cory served his country in the U.S. Army both stateside and overseas in reconnaissance and combat engineer units. Making a difference in government, public policy, and consumer research is important to Cory, and he transitioned from full-time military service to earn his master’s degree at the GW’s Graduate School of Political Management.
